"I’ve just had a fantastic few days in this Lodge. The Lodge itself was luxurious and elegant whilst retaining a homely feel. It was well kitted out and we wanted for nothing. Being winter I was concerned that I might not be warm enough, but needn’t have worried as the heating is incredibly efficient. The Lodge we stayed in backs onto a wood with a stream which the large decked balcony at the back overlooks. It’s so incredibly peaceful. The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub was amazing – what an experience to sit in it at night, in winter looking up at the stars. We didn’t get the chance to use the Old Mill bar/restaurant but it looked inviting and the opening hours were very good, even at this time quiet of year. You'll need to bring a torch and the only mobile phone reception is at the main gate but this only adds to the sense of peace! I would thoroughly recommend Stonerush Lakes and in particular this Lodge, for a tranquil getaway with a touch of luxury. "
