The on site golf course, the waterpark at Cariba Creek and the Alton Towers Spa - with ‘Pamper Day’ packages available – are all well worth visiting. When you’ve finished exploring what Britain’s most popular amusement park has to offer, why not have a look at some of the more sedate activities around the region Attractions like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Dovedale, and various cycle trails are close by whilst the region also boasts horse riding, rock-climbing and pot holing.

The pedestrian entrance to the ever-popular Alton Towers resort is just a 15 minute walk, and with the fabulous Cariba Creek water-park and luxurious Spa open all year round, not to mention the fantastic array of activities such as horse riding, golf and wonderful walking on offer in the area, the lodges at Ramshorn Wood, whether booked individually or together to accommodate larger groups, are truly a great base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday at any time of the year. A spacious detached lodge in 30 acres of woodland, close to Alton Towers. Superb accommodation, an ideal base to meet up and enjoy the Peak District. The added benefit of a hot tub makes this an ideal luxury retreat.
