Just 1 mile from the old market Town of Holsworthy which offers a variety of pubs shops and restaurants leisure complex with swimming pool and fitness facilities. A weekly cattle market and pannier market. Holsworthy is linked to the Ruby Trail and very close by the Tarka Trail where no traffic is allowed and you can safely walk cycle or ride. If you are a golfer Holsworthy has it’s own 18-hole course and there is also a links course just a 15 minute drive at the coastal Town of Bude. This fantastic location allows guests to explore the treasures of both Devon & Cornwall. Spectacular towering cliffs rugged coastlines beaches that invite you to explore or ‘ride the waves’ in the great surf around these coastlines. There are many attractions in the area including The Milky Way The Big Sheep The Gnome Reserve RHS Rosemoor Gardens Tamar Otter Park and the old fishing villages of Clovelly Hartland Quay Tintagel or Boscastle Dartmoor & Exmoor with their majestic Tors are all within a short and scenic drive. Leisure facilities: the lodges are situated overlooking the owner's public coarse fishing lakes which are well stocked with Carp Roach and Rudd and free to fish for residents staying at the lodges. Please note that correct fishing equipment is required for safety and the well-being of the fish. The further unfenced wildlife pond is a haven for a variety of birds. There are wide-open areas for children to play a swing and seesaw are also provided. Or enjoy the nature walks around the lakes with an abundance of wildlife flora and fauna.
