A small number of high quality holiday homes to choose from gives this park an exclusive feel but don’t think you’re cut off from all the fun and entertainment of the extremely popular resort of Dawlish Warren. Guests at Peppermint are welcome to use the facilities of sisters parks Dawlish Sands and Golden Sands – both just a short stroll away.

Venture off the park for fabulous beaches and picture postcard villages where cream teas are the order of the day or take a trip to Exeter for a canal cruise or some shopping. You can travel to Exeter along the coastal railway with fares from just £3 for an adult return – now that’s great value. Peppermint may be the smallest of our 3 Parks in Dawlish Warren but it’s big on quality so why not pay us a visit?

Ashcombe Adventure Centre

Built over 600 years ago, Powderham Castle is the historic home of the Earl of Devon. Explore the beautiful grounds and secret garden where you will find powderham pets and many other attractions.

River Link, River Dart Cruises
River Link operates cruises along the beautiful River Dart, between Dartmouth and Totnes. Our award winning 'Round Robin' is a full day round trip combining the steam train, river cruise and bus ride. Themed evening cruises are also available.

Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway
Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway runs for 7 miles in Great Western tradition from Paignton along the spectacular Torbay coast to Churston and on through the wooded slopes bordering the Dart estuary to Kingswear. The scenery is superb, with seascapes right across Lyme bay to Portland Bill on clear days.

Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve
This reserve is home to many species of wildlife and holds geomorphologic interest. Habitats at the Warren, include dunes, grassland, ponds, salt marsh and mudflats. The Warren is also the main roost for wildfowl and wading birds of the Exe Estuary.

Topsham Museum
Topsham Museum is housed in a group of late 17th century buildings overlooking the Exe Estuary. As well as the furnished period rooms of the house, visitors can also enjoy the displays of local history with a maritime background.

Pennywell Farm
