Park Albatros is one of Tuscany's biggest and best equipped camp sites. The site is situated in a pine forest close to the beautiful and as yet unspoilt sea. You will find a wide choice of facilities in and around Albatros camp site.

Description

Park Albatros is one of Tuscany's biggest and best equipped camp sites. The site is situated in a pine forest close to the beautiful and as yet unspoilt sea! You will find a wide choice of facilities in and around Albatros camp site. There is a large shopping centre with a supermarket, butcher, exchange office, pizzeria, restaurant, new restaurant for take away meals, bar and ice cream parlour. The toilet block is magnificent and there are special amusingly decorated toilets for children.


You can stay in the ultimate luxury and comfort of a SunLodge mobile home at Albatros camp site.

In these wonderful surroundings it is great to get out and about, also by bike (which can be rented on the camp site). Or how about minigolf, football or horse riding? The swimming pool complex with different pools now also has an Olympic pool of 15 by 25 metres (1.25 metres deep). Joining onto the complex are halls in Caribbean style. This is where the restaurant, bar and entertainment are housed.
New at Park Albatros is the discotheque in bamboo style. Time to put on your dancing shoes!

Local Area

There is so much to see in the vicinity of Albatros camp site that you won't be able to do it all in one holiday. Trips to Pisa, Florence and Siena for example. Just the journey there through the unrivalled Tuscan countryside is an experience in itself. You can take the boat to the island of Elba from the harbour at Piombino. Culture lovers will enjoy the many remains of Etruscan civilisation. Reason enough to come back again!

BEDROOMS
SunLodge is the first in Europe to provide single beds which are 80 cm by 2m10, and double beds which are 1m60 by 2m10. Now tall people can sleep in comfort at last!
Mattresses are of very good quality (15cm thick) and will ensure the good night’s rest that you deserve. Luxury bedding is provided.
There is a shelf by each bed for all your bits and pieces and an LED reading light so that you can happily read in the evenings.
There is also an electrical socket by each bed, handy for recharging your mobile phone or iPod at night time.
The bedrooms are equipped with cantilever windows (with a permanent insect screen) for good ventilation, light-proof curtains and shutters outside which you can close if you want total darkness.
BATHROOM FIXTURES
Two bathrooms and two separate toilets in SunLodge Redwood!
The showers have a thermostatically controlled mixer tap. Pleasant for adults and safe for children.
The shower cabins are no less than 80 cm by 1 metre and have plenty of holders to keep your shampoo bottles in. Swing doors facilitate getting in and out.
Extra lighting is above the washbasin mirror.
KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM
The kitchen is provided with all conveniences including a 4 ring gas cooker and oven.
The kitchen is also supplied with an electric kettle and a coffee maker.
There is a large refrigerator with a freezing compartment (in total 235 litres) for your use.
You can make use of the flat screen with DVD player*, including connections for your games computer and iPod. Be aware that at most camp sites there is little to no television reception. The TV is mostly suitable for viewing DVDs or playing videogames.

Two movable wooden sun loungers with adjustable backs.
