"The lodges at Winkleigh must be in one of the most peaceful locations imaginable, and it is just a superb place to recharge your batteries, whether or not you are an angler who can take advantage of a well-stocked lake that you can fish from your bedroom window! The orchards add to the sense of getting away from it all, and although it takes time to drive anywhere, the countryside is beautiful. Our lodge was very comfortable and well-appointed throughout."

"A lovely location, peaceful and quiet. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and the lake is very well stocked (I caught some really good sized fish). The lodge we stayed in was very luxuriously furnished, with plenty of room - there were four in my party but it takes six comfortably, I cannot fault it. Overall I had a great time and would highly recommend a stay here to anyone!"
