Amsterdam, a wonderful choice for a day trip, is easily accessible. |

| Peacefully set among trees and surrounded by the green countryside of Gelderland, the comfortable collection of brick built lodges at Landal Coldenhove enjoy an outstanding choice of activities and amenities, providing you with the perfect base for a family holiday.Within an hour or so by car is Amsterdam, famed for its architecture, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, good shopping and its hundreds of cafs, bars and restaurants especially its Indonesian cuisine. The huge De Hoge Veluwe nature reserve offers opportunities to spot deer and wild boar, or there are the monkeys and apes in the Apenheul at nearby Apeldoorn. A little further afield is the dolfinarium marineland at Harderwijk, and Arnhem, with its tributes and homage to some of the most famous actions of World War II, or the Airborne Museum at nearby Oosterbeek. The waterways of the village of Giethoorn are close by, as is the Hellendoorn adventure park. |
